WAIT 2012 : Norton Park Spa Hotel, Near Winchester (19th October 2012)
WAIT 2012 was held at Norton Park Spa Hotel, Near Winchester on Friday 19th October 2012. It was attended by 90 anaesthetists from across the region as well as college tutors and the training program directors.
Lectures from leaders in the field were given on NCEPOD, Simulation in Anaesthesia, Enhanced Recovery, The Bleeding Patient, Pre-hospital Medicine, Bariatric Anaesthesia and The Anaesthetist in Public Places. Trainees had the opportunity to enter the poster competition and five gave oral presentations.
